My Approach

Piano lessons that actually last.

Most students quit piano because it gets too hard or just boring. I focus on building a strong classical foundation, but paired with music you actually want to play. Whether you’re eight or forty-eight, I want you to enjoy sitting down at the piano. Not just this year, but ten years from now.

All Ages

Ages 5 Through Adult

Your child might be learning “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” or preparing two contrasting pieces for the GMTA auditions. Maybe they just want a challenging Pirates of the Caribbean arrangement. Either way, the goal is the same — learning to play beautifully and musically. The foundation is always classical, but the music we explore together depends on the student.

I focus on giving each student music they personally connect with while also exposing them to different styles from a library I’ve spent years building — pieces from all over the world that keep lessons interesting and students engaged.

Adults

Daytime Lessons for Adults

Most studios fill their schedules with after-school slots. I keep daytime openings specifically for adults—whether you work from home, have a flexible schedule, or are retired and finally have time for piano.

Daytime lessons feel different. There’s room to think, listen, and actually enjoy the process. No rushing in from traffic. No back-to-back chaos. Whether you’re starting from scratch or picking it back up after years away, we’ll figure out what makes sense for you.

Homeschool Piano Lessons

I work with many homeschool families across East Cobb and Roswell. Lessons are available weekday mornings and early afternoons, during times that fit naturally into your child’s school day.

One advantage of daytime lessons is that piano becomes a regular part of the weekly routine rather than something squeezed in at the end of a busy day. It also frees up afternoons and evenings for sports, social activities, and family time.

Learning at Home

No commute. No waiting room.

If your family’s anything like most of the families I work with in Roswell, your evenings are already pretty full—school pickups, homework, dinner, sprinkled with karate and dance. Driving to a piano studio and back can turn a 30-minute lesson into an hour-long ordeal.

So I come to you instead. Kids tend to do better when they learn on the same piano they practice on every day. No adjusting to a different keyboard. What we cover in a lesson flows right into their practice that week.

Your Teacher

About Davide Palmer

Davide has been playing piano since childhood and never really stopped. His training took him from the Conservatorio Domenico Cimarosa in Avellino, Italy, to the Manhattan School of Music in New York, where he studied under Solomon Mikowsky.

That classical foundation shapes every lesson he teaches—but what keeps families coming back isn’t a résumé. It’s his ability to meet each student exactly where they are. A seven-year-old learning to read notes and a retiree revisiting Bach get the same patience and attention.

Davide currently works with over 60 private students in homes throughout East Cobb, Marietta, and Roswell, including families near Mountain Park, Crabapple, and Historic Roswell.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

I work with students ages 5 through adult. My current studio includes young beginners, homeschool students, working professionals, and retirees. Every lesson is shaped around the individual student’s age, goals, and pace.

Yes. Daytime slots are ideal for adult students—whether you work from home, are retired, or have a flexible schedule. Many of my adult students appreciate the focused, unhurried pace of a midday lesson.

Absolutely. Piano lessons integrate naturally into a homeschool schedule. I work with several homeschool families and can tailor lesson times and pacing to complement their academic rhythm.

I teach classical, contemporary, pop, and jazz-influenced repertoire depending on the student’s interests and goals. The foundation is always strong technique and musicianship, but the music itself should inspire the student.

I do. East Cobb is my primary teaching area. I also serve families in Roswell and surrounding neighborhoods, depending on schedule availability. Learn more about East Cobb lessons →
